At first glance, the design is simple and very functional. The black and blue color design looks modern and smooth. The speaker has silica gel coverings on the top and bottom, which wrap around the black mesh. These protect the device from drop damage and light water spray. Combined with its small size (5.7 x 2.2 x 1.8 inches) and low weight (11.4 ounces), the Zoweetek speaker is definitely highly portable. You can easily carry this around the house, pools, campsites, and beaches. There’s a small, blue LED on button, and five buttons for previous/next, play/pause, and volume up/down. The only downside is that these are somewhat difficult to press down.

The bluetooth pairing is simple: just turn on the speaker and choose your device from the Bluetooth menu. I could also use NFC by selecting the option on my phone and placing it on top of the speaker, which made the connection process even faster. The Zoweetek portable speaker also has a small flap where you can find a 3.5 mm AUX audio input, micro SD slot, and micro USB port for charging. I tested its range and it works up to about 10 meters. It also comes with a built-in 2200 mAh high capacity lithium-ion rechargeable battery, allowing you to continuously play music for up to 24 hours. The speaker also comes with a 3.5mm aux cable and a micro USB to USB cable.

For its size and price, this device has decent sound quality; I found it to be very crisp and clear. I enjoyed its solid bass, thanks to its “dual precision acoustic bass driver.” Even at higher volumes, the sound remained consistent, which is a big advantage over cheaper speakers. Another feature I liked was the microphone–although the quality wasn’t the best, it allowed for serviceable hands-free calling. All in all, the Zoweetek Stereo Speaker is a well-rounded device that I recommend for a satisfactory listening experience.
